Our story

I have been selling customised lounge pants since 2018 as part of my custom sportswear company Five57. We supply customised club kit to the rowing community across the UK.

Over the last 5 years the attitudes towards loungewear has definitely changed, we have Covid to thank for that! All those zoom meetings, business wear on the top half and your favourite comfy bottoms hidden below. During 2022 and 2023 we saw an upturn in interest for our Yukon fleece lounge pants which got me thinking… these need an identity of their own and a name that becomes the product. So, earlier this year I began the journey to create Loones.

So what are Loones?

Loones are somewhere between joggers and PJs – made from a lovely thick Yukon fleece, they are a comfy fit, baggy and long with an elasticated waist and a drawstring. Once you have a pair I guarantee they will be your favourite thing to wear. And because they are a substantial fabric you can wear them to the shops without people thinking you are in your PJs. The best trousers, pants down!

If you aren’t looking for Loones for anyone but you, we have a range of off-the-shelf Loones for you to buy. This range will grow and change over time.

All our Loones are designed, packaged and dispatched by our small hardworking team here in Nottingham. They are all made by our good friends in Hamilton, Canada, with the highest spec sublimation and laser cutting equipment and hand sewn by a team of professional seamsters.

Fully customisable.

With a minimum order quantity of 6, it means that you and 5 friends can design whatever you like on your Loones, they are truly a blank canvas:
